Job summary

SimonMed Imaging is seeking a Lead Mammography Technologist to oversee the mammography department, perform imaging studies, and lead staff in a compliant, patient‑focused environment. You will mentor technologists, ensure high-quality imaging, and collaborate with radiologists and management to meet department goals.

The role requires leadership experience in mammography, ARRT certifications, and strong knowledge of MQSA and ACR guidelines, with a focus on patient safety and education.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in radiologic technology from an accredited program.
• 3–5 years of mammography experience, leadership preferred.
• ARRT Radiography (R) certification and Mammography (M) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily mammography department operations.
• Onboard and train new hires; mentor staff.
• Perform screening and diagnostic mammography per protocols (ACR/MQSA).
• Coordinate with radiologists and management to support clinical excellence.
• Maintain QA/QC and equipment performance; document procedures.
• Ensure MQSA, ACR, FDA compliance and patient safety.
• Provide patient education and maintain patient records; schedule follow-ups.
