Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking an experienced Mammography Technologist II to join the Breast Imaging and Mammography team at the Austin Oak Hill Medical Center. The role offers a Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM schedule and supports the launch of expanded breast imaging services in the Greater Austin area.

Ideal candidates will be ARRT-M and ARRT-R certified with strong breast imaging skills, including stereotactic biopsies and ultrasound-guided procedures.

Qualifications

• ARRT-M and ARRT-R certification.
• BLS certification or within 30 days of hire.
• 2 years of radiology/mammography experience required.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality mammography and advanced breast imaging procedures per exam protocols.
• Perform stereotactic, ultrasound-guided, and needle localization biopsies as applicable.
• Position patients for optimal imaging and minimize exposure.
• Explain procedures clearly to patients and ensure comfort during exams.
• Maintain equipment, clean work areas, and comply with safety standards.
• Document orders, patient history, pregnancy status, and exam details.
