Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking a Mammographer Radiology Physician for locum tenens support in Riverside, CA. The position follows a Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM schedule with ASAP start.

You will perform mammography procedures including stereotactic and ultrasound-guided biopsies, ensuring MQSA compliance and high-quality patient care while the agency handles travel and lodging arrangements.

Qualifications

• Board Certified in Radiology per state requirements.
• MQSA certification and DEA registration required.
• ACLS or BLS certification required.
• Active California medical license preferred; may consider locum licensure.

Responsibilities

• Provide mammography imaging services including stereotactic and ultrasound-guided biopsies.
• Perform daily 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM schedule Monday-Friday at Imaging Center.
• Ensure MQSA compliance, safety protocols and patient care standards.
• Collaborate with radiology staff and physicians for accurate reads.

• Job Setting: Imaging Center
• Modality: Mammography (stereotactic biopsies, Ultrasound guided biopsies)
• Shift/Schedule/Hours: Monday-Friday, 8 :00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Dates Needed: August
• Credentialing: 8 days
• Certifications Required: Board Certified and Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or Basic Life Support (BLS) and Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA8)
