Job summary

Vanderbilt Health seeks a Mammographer to perform diagnostic mammographic procedures in accordance with departmental policies to ensure high-quality patient care. You will be responsible for accurate positioning, image labeling, RIS/PACS transactions, and maintaining safety and quality standards.

The role requires competency in communicating with patients and staff across adult to geriatric populations, supporting quality assurance, and collaborating within a team to deliver timely imaging

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved discipline specific program.
• 1 year of relevant work experience.
• Licensure by ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic mammographic procedures per department protocols.
• Review images for proper positioning and labeling.
• Ensure timely delivery and documentation in patient records and RIS/PACS.
• Maintain clean room, equipment and perform quality assurance tasks.
• Communicate with staff and physicians to exchange patient information and scheduling.
• Contribute to a positive teamwork environment and flex to workload demands.
