Job summary

El Camino Health Medical Network is seeking a Mammogram Technologist to join our team in the San Jose area. The role involves diagnostic breast imaging using a mammography unit under the direction of a certified physician.

Responsibilities include high-quality radiologic and mammography exams, patient guidance, and assisting radiologists with procedures. Candidates should have an Associate’s degree, ARRT-CRT license, BLS, and at least two years of mammography experience.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree from AMA-approved school and ARRT registry.
• California CRT license and BLS certification required.
• Two years of clinical mammography experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality radiologic and mammography exams.
• Monitor patient well-being and respond to discomfort.
• Guide patients through procedures and answer questions.
• Assist radiologists with biopsies, localizations, and ductograms.
• Prepare and position patients for imaging, adjust exposure factors.
• Maintain quality control and ensure proper documentation.
