Job summary

Akumin is hiring a Mammo Tech at the Riverside facility in a PRN capacity. The Mammographer will perform screening and diagnostic mammography using advanced 2D/3D equipment, collecting full patient history to support Radiologist interpretations.

Role requires ARRT (M), a state license if applicable, CPR certification, and MQSA compliance. Excellent customer service and multitasking skills are essential, with a focus on quality and safety.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate's Degree preferred.
• Mammography Program Certificate (State approved) required/preferred.
• ARRT (M) certification and State License, if applicable.
• CPR certification.
• Valid state driver’s license.
• MQSA standards knowledge.
• Strong customer service, organizational and multi-tasking skills.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs mammogram exams for screening and diagnostic purposes.
• Obtains patient history, prior films/reports, and relevant information (RIS/PACS).
• Performs Quality Control (QC) per FDA/ACR requirements.
• Provides imaging support to other modalities (x-ray, bone density, etc).
• Handles mammogram letters (results/reminders) and related workflows.
