Job summary

West Boca Medical Center is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to operate radiographic equipment and obtain optimal images to assist in diagnosis across geriatric to pediatric patients.

The role emphasizes high-quality care, adherence to safety protocols, and collaboration with the imaging team. Applicants should hold an associate's or bachelor's degree in radiologic technology and valid Florida license with ARRT registration preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Radiologic Technology.
• Thorough knowledge of Mammography in all forms of diagnostic technology, terminology, practice, procedure, physiology and human anatomy.

Responsibilities

• Operate radiographic equipment to obtain optimal radiographs for diagnosis.
• Direct responsibility for geriatric, adult, adolescent, and pediatric patient care.
• Ensure a high level of quality and service delivery to organizational customers.

Job description

Direct responsibility for geriatric, adult, adolescent, and pediatric patient care. Ensures a high level of quality and service is delivered to all organizational customers.

Qualifications

Education:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Radiologic Technology

Experience:

• Thorough knowledge of Mammography in all forms of diagnostic technology, terminology, practice, procedure, physiology and human anatomy

Required Certification/Licensure/Registration: Minimum:

• National Registry (R) (M) and Florida License
• American Heart Association BLS Required

Preferred:

• ARRT certification in Bone Densitometry

West Boca Medical Center (WBMC) is part of the Palm Beach Health Network and has been serving southern Palm Beach and northern Broward counties for over 37 years.
