Job summary

Marquee Defense seeks a malware reverse engineering analyst to perform technical analysis of malicious binaries and assembly code in a secure, in-house setting at Fort Meade. The role focuses on defeating anti-analysis techniques, attribution, IOC identification, and producing actionable artifacts for detection and mitigation.

Required are a relevant degree and security certifications (CISSP/GIAC GREM/CREA) with an Information Assurance certification possibly required.

Qualifications

• CISSP/GIAC GREM/CREA certifications required or preferred.
• Information Assurance Certification may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical analysis of malicious binaries via controlled execution and static analysis of assembly code.
• Overcome anti-analysis techniques to determine malware functionality.
• Assist with attribution to adversary infrastructure and identify indicators of compromise.
• Provide information and documentation to enable malware detection, signature creation, and mitigation.
