Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a mid-level Malware Defense Analyst for a contract role based in Irving, TX. You will respond to real-time threats, triage detections, and perform static, dynamic, and behavioral analysis of malware while documenting observations and recommendations.

Responsibilities include strengthening controls, participating in Incident Response, and collaborating with teams to mitigate evolving threats in a fast-paced, onsite environment.

Qualifications

• Mid-level candidates with malware analysis and incident response experience.
• Experience triaging detections, prioritizing threats, static and dynamic analysis.
• Ability to drive process changes and implement control enhancements.

Responsibilities

• Respond, triage, and adapt to real-time threats targeting the organization through malware delivery and execution.
• Perform static, dynamic, and behavioral analysis of malicious software and IoCs.
• Maintain detailed documentation and produce comprehensive reports with observations and actions.
• Identify cyber risks and help develop improvements to controls and detection mechanisms.
• Collaborate with response teams to defend against emerging threats and contribute to Incident Response.
