Job Summary

Male Teaching Associate (MTA) – To provide instruction to medical students and other health related personnel on procedures for conducting a basic, accurate, and comfortable clinical genital-rectal male exam.

Essential Functions

• 40% instructional duties: providing instruction on procedures for a basic, accurate, and comfortable clinical genital-rectal male exam.
• 30% participation: serving as teacher, trainer, proctor, and actual patient when working with medical students and other health related personnel.
• 30% teaching: instructing students in appropriate communication, technical, clinical, and patient education skills.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, age 18 or over.
• Comfortable dealing with varying student populations and personalities.
• Self‑control, sensitivity, and strong concern for men’s health issues.
• Exceptional interpersonal and teaching abilities.
