Job summary

Gail’s Homecare in Lithonia, GA is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our in-home care team. This full-time role supports clients at their homes in Atlanta and surrounding areas, with duties including personal care, mobility assistance, and light housekeeping.

The ideal candidate holds an active CNA license, CPR/BLS, a high school diploma or GED, and 3–5 years of home-health experience.

Qualifications

• Active CNA License/Certification.
• Current CPR/BLS certification required.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Full-time professional healthcare experience required; 3–5 years preferred.
• Home healthcare or in-home care experience strongly preferred.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate personal care and assistance to clients in their homes.
• Assist clients with activities of daily living and personal care needs.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for clients.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and other physical care needs as appropriate.
• Perform light housekeeping and domestic tasks related to client care.
• Observe and report changes in the client’s condition or needs.
• Accurately document client care and progress.
• Communicate professionally and effectively with clients, families, and the care team.
• Protect each client’s dignity, privacy, and confidentiality.
• Follow all agency policies, care instructions, and applicable regulations.
