Job summary

St.-Joseph is seeking caregivers to provide compassionate, in-home support for elderly clients or those recovering from medical procedures. You will assist with personal hygiene, daily activities, medication reminders and mobility, while helping with light chores and meal preparation.

Responsibilities include assisting with exercises, accompanying clients to appointments, shopping, and maintaining a safe home environment. Flexible scheduling and team support are emphasized in this role.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal hygiene assistance for elderly patients or those recovering from surgeries, injuries or accidents by attending to their basic needs, such as showering, bathing, dressing and eating
• Help clients take prescribed medication and assist clients with ambulation
• Help with mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks etc.)
• Plan and prepare meals
• Assist with physical therapy exercises
• Complete client’s shopping or accompany them to successfully do so
• Perform housekeeping duties
