Job summary

Assisting Hands - Matteson is seeking a compassionate male caregiver to join our in-home care team in Matteson, IL. This Monday–Friday role supports clients with daily living activities, meal preparation, mobility assistance, and companionship, all within a respectful, family-like team environment.

Ideal candidates have caregiving experience (home health aide or CNA a plus) and a commitment to consistent, high-quality care. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are preferred.

Qualifications

• Male caregiver candidates preferred to meet specific client care needs.
• Prior caregiving, home health aide, or CNA experience is a plus.
• Compassionate, patient, and reliable with a genuine desire to help others.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, and hygiene support
• Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation as needed
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding according to client care plans
• Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and clean environment
• Offer companionship and emotional support to clients and their families
• Monitor and report changes in client health or behavior to supervisors
• Assist with medication reminders and follow established care routines
