Job summary

Visiting Angels Albuquerque is seeking a male caregiver in Rio Rancho, NM, to support seniors with daily tasks and mobility. The role runs Monday-Friday, 9am-3pm, offering meaningful local work and community impact.

The caregiver will assist with medications, mobility, personal care, meal prep, light housekeeping, transportation, and companionship, with opportunities for advanced training in dementia or Alzheimer's care.

Qualifications

• Passion to serve others and provide compassionate care.

Responsibilities

• Help clients take prescribed medication.
• Assist with ambulation, mobility, and transportation.

• Handle light housekeeping and shopping support.
• Be a pleasant, supportive companion and report incidents.

Caregiver Responsibilities

• Help clients take prescribed medication
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor's appointments, walks, etc.)
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
• Help clients with routine exercises
• Plan and prepare meals with assistance from the clients (when they are able)
• Do the client's shopping or accompany them when they shop
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can't complete on their own
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion
• Report any unusual incidents
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency

Caregiver Requirements
