Paul Mitchell the School Salt Lake City is hiring a Makeup Educator to inspire and teach makeup techniques to students in a hands-on clinic classroom. You will cover retail basics, technique demonstrations, and student assessments to prepare graduates for careers in makeup applications.

This part-time role is 12 hours per week with a flexible schedule, paid training, vacation/sick time, and employee discounts on services and products.

Qualifications

• Makeup experience required.
• Customer service experience is a plus.
• Teaching experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Teach makeup techniques and foundations to students in a clinic classroom.
• Demonstrate makeup applications and supervise practical sessions.

A DAY IN THE LIFE AS AN Makeup educator

As a Makeup Educator, you take great pride in your students and strive to create extraordinary learning experiences in the clinic classroom using objective-based education, mini-classes, and learning centers. You teach your students the many different techniques. From retailing & makeup techniques, you prepare our students for their careers in Makeup applications. Additionally, you teach them the business and guest service skills they will need to be successful.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Make up experience
