Job summary

Envolve Client Services Group is seeking a Make Ready Technician to prepare apartment units for move-in at Vanderbilt in Missouri. You will handle cleanup, minor repairs, and ensure appliances and systems operate properly to welcome residents.

You will work as part of a team with a strong emphasis on customer service, reporting to the Property Manager. Some weekend duties may be required, with compensation in the $19.00-$21.00 per hour range and a full benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must work well with others and take direction from supervisor, but have the initiative to work independently.
• Basic writing and reading skills required. A commitment to exceptional customer service.
• Some plumbing, electrical, general maintenance and appliance repair knowledge preferred not required.
• Previous multi-family experience requested. May require some weekend duties.

Responsibilities

• Remove trash and items left by the previous resident.
• Repair and prepare walls, doors, wood trim, closets, and cabinets for painting.
• Repair glass items such as windows, medicine cabinets, light globes, mirrors, etc.
• Ensure proper operation of stove, vent hood, garbage disposal, refrigerator, dishwasher, water heater, HVAC, washer/dryer and other appliances.
• Repair minor problems and report major problems to management prior to move-in.
• Ensure proper operation of window blinds and/or curtains.
• Re-key master locks and provide leasing keys prior to move-in.
• Install weather stripping around doors and windows where required.
• Repair bathroom floor and wall tile as needed.
• Maintain door latches and carpet clearance.
• Help create and maintain a company direction designed to develop loyalty, team spirit and unity of all personnel.
• Other duties as assigned, which the employee is capable of performing.
