Job summary

Olympus Property is seeking a Make Ready Technician to ensure apartment homes are ready for new resident move-ins. The role emphasizes repairing and preparing units, aligning with Olympus Property’s culture of care and teamwork.

Position is full-time with standard weekday hours and a strong focus on various rehab tasks, from plumbing to painting. Olympus values growth, rewards, and a family-oriented, fun environment across its communities nationwide.

Qualifications

• Experience in residential, commercial, retail, or apartment rehab/turns is required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect apartments for damage and perform repairs prior to move-ins.
• Repair or replace plumbing fixtures and components.
• Repair or replace electrical fixtures and switches.
• Prime, paint, and seal surfaces.
• Replace doors, doorknobs, and lock systems.
• Caulk, plaster, and fill cracks and holes.
• Wash and treat surfaces; remove mildew.
• Sand and adhere finishes.
• Complete work orders and estimate materials/codes.

The Make Ready Technicianwill perform a wide variety of repairs to ensure that all apartment homes are up to standard for new resident move-ins.

• Repair or replace plumbing/sink/shower/toilet fixtures

• Repair or replace electrical fixtures and switches

• Prime, paint, and seal surfaces (including wood or metal)

• Replace doors, doorknobs, and lock systems

• Caulk, plaster, and fill cracks, holes, or joints

• Wash and treat surfaces

• Remove mildew

• Sand and adhere finishes

• Complete various work orders as needed

• Calculate required materials and estimate costs

• Full-time, Monday — Friday from 9 AM — 6 PM
