Make Ready Technician

As a Make Ready Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring all vacant apartment units are move-in ready.

Overview

• Inspect the condition of all units prior to repairs, including walls, appliances, electrical, plumbing, windows/doors, and filters.
• Walk all vacant units to determine make-ready needs; ensure all trash is removed from apartments before, during, and after make-ready activities.
• Perform general repairs and upkeep to vacant units prior to move-in, adhering to company standards and guidelines; complete required updates on service needs and coordinate regularly with the property team.
• Responsible for the daily upkeep of the grounds and the appearance of the property, including general repairs and replacements for common areas as needed.
• This overview does not encompass all duties.
• Assist with hazardous weather issues, fires, floods, snow removal, freezes, etc., as needed.

Job Requirements

• General maintenance and safety knowledge and experience
• Knowledge of building maintenance and repair
• Must provide own industry-specific hand tools
• Basic computer skills required to perform job functions
• Strong communication skills
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to work with diverse groups of people and customers

Work Schedule: 9am-6pm, Monday-Friday (schedules may vary). Some overtime, including “on-call” and rotating “on-call” responsibilities, may be required.
