Ambo Properties is seeking a diligent Make Ready/Porter in Irving, Texas. You will prepare apartments for new residents, ensuring spaces are clean, safe, and inviting, while supporting maintenance tasks and curb appeal.

The role requires reliability, a strong work ethic, and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. You will collaborate with maintenance and leasing teams, face varying weather, and pass background checks and drug screening as part of our commitment to resident satisfaction

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Make Ready/Porter or similar role in property management or maintenance preferred.
• Basic knowledge of property maintenance tasks (painting, cleaning, minor repairs).
• Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision.
• Drivers Licensed (Required)
• Must be able to pass a criminal background/Drug screening (Required)
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and perform outdoor tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

• Apartment Turnover: Perform "make ready" tasks to prepare vacant units for new residents, including cleaning, painting, minor repairs, and appliance checks.
• Property Maintenance: Assist with general property upkeep, including picking up trash, landscaping, and maintaining curb appeal.
• Cleaning & Maintenance Support: Clean and maintain common areas, such as hallways, lobbies, and laundry rooms.
• Inspection Support: Assist with property inspections and ensure all areas are in compliance with safety standards.
• Work Orders: Address minor maintenance work orders when necessary and report any major repairs to the maintenance team.
• Resident Interaction: Maintain a positive and friendly attitude toward residents and guests while completing tasks efficiently and with care.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with the maintenance and leasing teams to ensure the smooth operation of the property.
