National Yiddish Book Center in Amherst, MA seeks an Individual Giving Officer to grow its fundraising program and manage a portfolio of 100–300 donors. The role reports to the Director of Institutional Advancement and requires regular donor travel.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in fundraising, strong writing/communication, and the ability to collaborate with staff to meet ambitious goals. A BA is required; experience with Raiser's Edge NXT is a plus.

• Minimum 5 years of fundraising or related experience.
• Ability to travel frequently to visit donors.
• Superior writing and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

• Articulate the organization’s mission, values and goals.

Responsabilidades

• Identify, qualify, cultivate, solicit, and steward a portfolio of 100–300 donors to increase giving.
• Collaborate with the Director of Institutional Advancement to meet fundraising goals.
• Establish relationships with members and donors aligning interests with Center goals.
• Collaborate with development and programming staff to anticipate funding needs.
• Familiarize with giving vehicles like stocks, QCDs, and Donor-Advised Funds.
