American Ancestors, a national center for family history and culture, seeks a Major Gifts Officer to manage a large donor portfolio and drive fundraising at the $100k+ level from Newbury Street, Boston. You will use moves management, cultivate, solicit, and steward gifts while partnering with leadership to advance essential programs.
The role requires 7+ years in fundraising, donor database experience, and strong communication skills; Tessitura familiarity is highly desirable.

Under the direction of the Chief Advancement Officer, the Major Gifts Officer will manage a portfolio of major gift prospects to support the vital work of American Ancestors. Using moves management and prospect tracking strategies, the Major Gifts Officer is responsible for the identification, qualification, cultivation, solicitation, recognition, and stewardship of assigned donors.
