Job description

Objective:


In this key role, you will manage and drive direct sales engagements into the SLED vertical and strategic partners. Your focus will be to create and implement strategic account plans focused on attaining enterprise-wide deployments of Fortinet products and services. Develop executive relationships with key buyers and influencers and leverage these during the sales process. Coordinate with appropriate internal groups to generate and deliver winning Contract Bids, Proposals, RFI/RFP Responses, and Statements of Work. Negotiate terms of business with clients to achieve win/win results that provide the basis for strong ongoing relationships.


Responsibilities:


  1. Generate SLED business opportunities and manage the sales process through to closure.
  2. Achieve quarterly sales goals.
  3. Create and maintain a sales pipeline, qualify opportunities, and accurately forecast sales.

Required Skills:


  • Proven ability to sell solutions to the SLED vertical.
  • Track record of meeting sales quotas and demonstrating career stability.
  • Experience closing large deals.
  • Excellent presentation skills for executives and individual contributors.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, independent thinker capable of moving deals through the sales cycle.
  • Minimum 8 years of sales experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience selling enterprise network security products and services.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment.
  • Competitive, self-starter, hunter mentality.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet sales objectives.

Education:


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Salary ranges are based on various factors including market conditions, job type, and experience. The expected on-target earnings for this position are $288,700 - $373,700 annually, with exact offers determined by qualifications, experience, and location.


This role is eligible for participation in the Fortinet equity program and commissions as per the Sales Compensation Plan.
