Maintenance Worker (Summer)

Summer Position / 40 hours per week

Anticipated Start Date: May 25, 2026 to August 21, 2026

The Position

The job of Maintenance Worker - Summer is done for the purpose/s of assisting maintenance staff perform maintenance services with specific responsibility for maintaining facilities in safe operating condition.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years old
• Criminal Justice Fingerprint/Background Clearance

Standard Hours

• 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday

Pay

$15.36 - $19.29 (based on relevant working experience)

Essential Functions

• Assists with the performance of a variety of maintenance activities (e.g. assembling furniture, repairing floors, repairing fences, painting, etc.) for the purpose of completing projects within established time frames.
• Assists with the construction of a variety of items (e.g. walls, decks, ramps, counters, temporary partitions, furniture, etc.) for the purpose of modifying and/or adapting facilities to specific needs.
• Assists skilled maintenance workers with projects (e.g. transporting and/or securing materials, acting as general labor, completing specific tasks, etc.) for the purpose of completing projects in a safe, efficient manner.
• Cleans gutters, culverts, other drainage structures for the purpose of preventing damage and/or limiting liability exposure.
• Responds to emergency situations and assists where needed for the purpose of resolving immediate safety concerns.
