Job summary

RiseBoro Community Partnership is seeking a dedicated cleaner for locations including Youth Center & ACLA High School. You will perform routine cleaning, restrooms sanitation, floor care, kitchen cleaning, classroom maintenance and waste disposal across multiple areas.

The role requires physical stamina, reliability, and ability to work with various cleaning equipment. Regular on-site shifts may include early morning snow removal and emergency response as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be physically able to operate heavy machinery and stand for long periods.
• Must have previous relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect restrooms, replenish supplies, and polish metal fixtures.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum floors; scrub, wax, and polish surfaces as needed.
• Clean kitchens, classrooms, offices; dust furniture and equipment.
• Empty trash and recyclables; transport to disposal area.
• Assist with snow removal during early morning hours.
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and tools; be on call for emergencies.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Responsible for completing the following tasks as described by each particular building location/assignment (Youth Center & ACLA High School):

• Restrooms: Cleans and disinfects sinks, countertops, toilets, mirrors, floors, etc. Replenishes bathroom supplies. Polishes metalwork, such as fixtures and fittings.
• Floors: Sweeps, mops, vacuums, floors using brooms, mops and vacuum cleaners. Other floor work may be required such as: scrubbing, waxing and polishing floors.
• Kitchen Area: Cleans and disinfects sinks, countertops, tables, chairs, refrigerators, etc.
• Classrooms and office space: Dusts furniture, equipment, partitions, etc.
• Trash: Empties wastebaskets and recyclables and transports to disposal area.
• Snow Removal: Report to work during early morning hours to assist with snow removal.
• Other Duties:
• Use and maintain assigned power equipment and hand tools; buffers, auto scrubbers, extractors, high pressure washers, high speed buffers and vacuums, brooms, mops, and squeegees for the cleaning and general maintenance of floors, walls, carpets, furniture, etc.
• Be on call in case of emergencies.

• Must have previous relevant experience.

Education Experience

• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required
