Job summary

ASU Mid-South is seeking a part-time worker to assist both the maintenance and grounds departments. This role includes changing air filters, assisting with maintenance requests, moving furniture, and general upkeep of buildings and outdoor areas.

The position is 29 hours per week at $12 per hour, with applications reviewed immediately and the job remaining open until filled. A criminal background check and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform general labor outdoors.
• Knowledge of power tools and hand tools.
• Ability to help perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on motorized vehicles and equipment.
• Ability to help perform routine building maintenance work.
• Ability to work under minimal supervision.
• Ability to follow oral and/or written instructions.
• Other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Changing air filters and assisting with maintenance requests.
• Moving furniture as needed.
• Weeding and mulching flower beds; mowing, edging.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

This is a temporary part-time position, 29 hours a week, $12/hour.
