CareOne at Moorestown is seeking a Maintenance Worker to balance life and a new career in a supportive setting. The role focuses on daily rounds, preventive maintenance, and cosmetic repairs to sustain a safe living environment for residents.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, and at least two years of on-the-job experience, with preference for those with construction or trades background and experience with hand and power tools.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum two years on-the-job experience.
• Minimum one year construction or professional trade experience preferred.
• Experience with multiple hand and power tools preferred.

Responsabilités

• Daily plant rounds and inspections.
• Preventive maintenance rounds.
• Minor plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and cosmetic repairs; painting.
• Check maintenance request logs at least 3 times daily and correct as needed.
• Assist with furniture moves and equipment repairs as requested.
• Collaborate with staff to improve residents' living quarters and comfort.
• Perform assigned special projects from Maintenance Director.

Job Duties

• Daily physical plant rounds, inspection of the facility for issues to be repaired.
• Preventive Maintenance rounds of physical plant.
• Minor plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and cosmetic repairs of facility and equipment within. Painting a must.
• Perform daily plant rounds and make corrections to lighting and cosmetic issues as needed.
• Check maintenance request logs books minimum 3 times a day and make appropriate corrections.
• Perform other duties requested by staff and supervisors within facility, including furniture moves, equipment repairs, problem solving issues as needed.
• Work closely with staff to improve quality of living quarters of residents.
• Perform Preventive Maintenance rounds as assigned assessing different aspects of facility.
• Perform any assigned special projects as designated by Maintenance Director.
• Work closely with Maintenance Director to improve overall function of systems within facility.

Position Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
