Job summary

CoreCivic in Houston, TX is seeking a Maintenance Worker who can install, maintain and repair the facility's structures and systems, including plumbing, electrical wiring and machinery. The role supports safe and secure operations in an institutional setting and contributes to keeping the facility well-functioning for staff and residents.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED certification or equivalent is required.
• Two years of experience in general maintenance or construction is required.
• Knowledge of building construction and the operation of building systems is preferred.
• A valid driver's license is required.
• Minimum age requirement: Must be at least 21 years of age.
