McKinley County, NM is seeking a facilities and grounds maintenance worker to perform electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, roofing, and building repairs while keeping county facilities clean and safe.
Responsibilities include viewing and completing work orders, maintaining grounds, custodial duties, managing supplies and inventory, and ensuring safety guidelines are followed. High School Diploma or GED required; relevant maintenance experience preferred.
The purpose of this position is to perform facilities and grounds maintenance and maintain a clean and safe working environment. This is accomplished by performing electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, roof, and building repairs, as well as, maintaining grounds and County facilities custodial needs. Other responsibilities include managing supplies, inventory and performing other duties as needed.

The incumbent of this position must comply with established safety guidelines of the County. Employee may be required to travel, be on-call, work nights and holidays (as necessary).
Must possess a valid Driver’s License at time of employment and be insurable for liability purposes; and the ability to possess a New Mexico Driver’s License within six (6) months of hire date.
