Job summary

US Air Mobility Command is seeking a FLEX Building Maintenance Technician to support the Eagle's Rest Inn on Dover Air Force Base. The role covers building upkeep throughout lodging facilities and grounds maintenance around sidewalks, parking areas, grass, and plantings.

The successful candidate will perform general repairs in plumbing, painting, electrical, and carpentry and use test equipment such as multimeters and voltmeters.

Qualifications

• Must have general repair and maintenance experience in plumbing, painting and plastering, electrical and carpentry.
• Must have specialized experience in electrical/electronics maintenance requiring test equipment like multimeters or voltmeters.
• Must be able to use a variety of common hand and power tools and read schematics/diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Perform building maintenance throughout the lodging complex.

About the position

This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Eagle's Rest Inn on Dover Air Force Base.

Purpose of this position

Purpose of this position is to perform building maintenance duties throughout the lodging complex. Also to maintain grounds around lodging facilities to include sidewalk, parking, grass, and planted areas.

Work Schedule

• As a FLEX employee you may work anywhere between 0-40 hrs. per week on an as needed basis.

• Must have specialized experience in the field of electrical/electronics or similar maintenance, which required the use of test equipment such as multi meters, voltmeters, or other similar test equipment.
• Must have the ability to use a variety of common hand and power tools, and have experience in reading schematics and diagrams.
