Job summary

Bourne Manor in Bourne, MA is seeking a maintenance worker to perform routine tasks across the property, including grounds, parking areas and driveways, as directed.

Responsibilities include routine maintenance and repairs on facility systems and equipment (plumbing, plastering, electrical, carpentry, mechanical), window cleaning, lighting replacement, and servicing heating and cooling units according to procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repair on the facility and equipment (plumbing, plastering, electrical, carpentry, mechanical) as directed, in accordance with established procedures.
• Clean windows and screens as directed.
• Replace burned out lights bulbs, to include exit lights, overhead lights, fluorescent lights, room call lights, etc., and perform cleaning duties in very high places.
• Service heating and cooling units/systems, as specified by the manufacturer, and in compliance with established policies and procedures.
• Perform unscheduled maintenance tasks as directed.
• Maintain general plant and facility in good repair, ensuring a safe, clean and orderly environment.
• Maintain an atmosphere of positive emphasis as well as a calm environment throughout the facility.
• Assure maintenance supplies have been replenished in work areas as necessary.
• Assist others in lifting heavy equipment, supplies, etc., as directed or requested.
• Other related duties as may become necessary or as directed by your supervisor, department director, and/or administrator
