Job summary

Sysco Northeast Rdc is seeking an Operations Associate responsible for fueling all delivery equipment, checking fluids, tire pressure, and assisting the fleet shop to prepare equipment for use. You will wash trailers on schedule, keep the yard clean and organized, and support night shift spotters to optimize truck flow.

Strong reading comprehension, basic math, and the ability to follow simple instructions are essential, along with teamwork and reliability in a fast-paced distribution

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1-3 months related experience and/or training.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education

• High school diploma or General Education Development (GED) or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience

• 1-3 months related experience and/or training.

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Able to write simple correspondence.
• Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
