Job summary

Insight Global is seeking qualified maintenance technicians for 1st shift (5am-1pm) and 2nd shift (1pm-9pm) to diagnose, repair, and support production equipment, helping minimize downtime and maintain safe operations.

You will perform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems; document repairs; assist with installations and process improvements; and communicate status and timelines with Operations and Engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Technical certification or associate degree in maintenance or related field.
• Experience with PLC troubleshooting and CNC equipment.
• Familiarity with preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Experience in high-volume manufacturing or warehouse operations.
• Knowledge of CMMS for tracking maintenance and parts.
• Strong communication with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance on production equipment and facility systems.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues and implement repairs.
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and maintain production continuity.
• Document maintenance activities, repairs, and parts usage in logs or systems.
• Support equipment installations, upgrades, and process improvements with Operations and Engineering.
• Follow safety protocols, lockout/tagout procedures and environmental regulations.
• Assist with spare parts inventory management and vendor coordination.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance reliability and maintenance efficiency.
• Communicate equipment status, risks, and repair timelines to supervisors and teams.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities: A production line stops mid-run → you’re called over to diagnose the issue

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance on production equipment, machinery, and facility systems to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues and implement timely, effective repairs.
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and production support requests to maintain operational continuity.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues and recommend corrective or improvement actions.
• Document maintenance activities, repairs, and parts usage in maintenance logs or systems.
• Support equipment installations, upgrades, and process improvements in collaboration with Operations and Engineering.
• Follow all safety protocols, lockout/tagout procedures, and environmental regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
• Assist with maintaining spare parts inventory and coordinating with vendors as needed.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and maintenance efficiency.
• Communicate equipment status, risks, and repair timelines clearly to supervisors and production teams

Skills and Requirements

Preferred Qualifications:

• Technical certification, associate degree, or formal trade training in industrial maintenance, electrical, or mechanical disciplines.
• Experience with PLC troubleshooting, automation systems, or CNC equipment.
• Familiarity with preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Prior experience in a high-volume manufacturing or warehouse operation.
• Knowledge of CMMS systems for tracking maintenance activities and parts inventory.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to partner effectively with Operations and Engineering teams.
