Wilson Trailer is seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician on day shift (6:00 am–3:30 pm, Mon–Fri) to maintain plant equipment, set up machines, troubleshoot, and perform preventive maintenance. The ideal candidate has 2–4 years industrial maintenance experience, ability to read prints, hydraulics and basic electrical knowledge, and welding skills, plus a valid driver’s license and teamwork mindset.

Responsabilités

• Maintain plant equipment and perform machine setup, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance.
• Perform safety inspections of hoist chains, forklifts, and tools.
• Read prints and identify issues; fabricate parts with mill/lathe/welder if needed.

Wilson Trailer has an opening for a full-time Maintenance Technician Position.

This is an excellent career opportunity with a leader in the truck trailer industry. We have an opening on our day shift, hours are currently 6:00 am until 3:30pm, Monday through Friday. We offer an attractive starting wage depending on experience along with scheduled increases and a full benefit package.

Prefer 2-4 years of previous industrial maintenance in a manufacturing setting.

Position Summary

This position has overall responsibility for maintenance of plant equipment. Conducts machine setup, troubleshooting, repairs and preventive maintenance work.

Essential Functions Statement(s)

• Perform a safety inspection of hoist chains, forklifts, and all tools used to ensure safety.
• Ability to read and understand prints of machines and other items to be able to identify and fix issues that arise.
• Have an understanding of hydraulics and hydraulic schematics.
• Basic electrical knowledge.
• Have a valid drivers license.
• Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventative maintenance.
• Will need to work day shift or a split shift for a few months until training is complete.
• Will be required to take a written test on knowledge.
• Must be self motivated, can work independently or in a team.
• Can fabricate parts if need be using a mill, lathe and/or welder.
• Must have welding skills

Skills and Abilities

Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED).

Experience: Must be at least eighteen years of age.

Computer Skills: Average; ability to navigate computer systems for various tasks.

Communication: Ability to read, write, comprehend and communicate clearly and concisely using the English Language.
