Job summary

ExxonMobil in Odessa, Texas, seeks a Wage Maintenance Technician to provide day-to-day maintenance support and surveillance of assigned equipment, developing knowledge of safe work practices and PM requirements.

You will lead troubleshooting, execute maintenance plans, and ensure compliance with Energy Isolation, MOC, and procedures, enabling equipment isolation or return to service.

• Develop thorough working knowledge of assigned Maintenance equipment, operating limits, and underlying equipment strategies
• Obtain certifications as may be required to support specific equipment, or OEM warranty provisions, etc.
• Develop thorough working knowledge of and demonstrate strict adherence to safe work practices
• Comply with operating unit safe work standards Energy Isolation, Management of Change, Procedure compliance, etc.
• Conduct assigned maintenance responsibilities adhering to PM and general equipment strategy requirements
• Support in developing and/or executing maintenance plans to isolate equipment for maintenance or return to service
• Monitor equipment, look for unusual conditions or measurements, support optimization and trouble-shooting activities
• Comply with regulatory requirements associated with equipment performance, emissions, etc.

What Role You Will Play On Our Team

The Wage Maintenance Technician - is responsible for providing the functional, day-to-day maintenance support and surveillance of assigned Maintenance equipment. Achieve an effective working knowledge of safe work practices, both general operating unit safe work practices as well as assigned equipment specific safe work practices. Conduct maintenance activities adhering to preventative maintenance and equipment strategy requirements. Lead work activities involved with troubleshooting and / or repairing equipment in their assigned work area. Complete all assigned training requirements
