Job summary

Commerce-Capital-Partners in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Maintenance Technician for property management facilities. The role requires hands-on experience with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and energy management systems, plus EPA certification and CPO.

You will diagnose and repair equipment, perform preventative maintenance, assist with make-ready suites, and coordinate with vendors and residents. A valid driver's license and strong customer service skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire protection, energy management systems, EPA certification, and Certified Pool Operator (CPO) are required.
• Must have a minimum of 3 years of maintenance experience in the property management industry or similar industry.
• Basic computer/Internet/email experience required; strong organizational, verbal, and customer service skills.
• Valid driver's license from the state of residence required; ability to interact professionally with tenants, vendors, contractors, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Receives requests for service maintenance, prioritizes service requests and handles each in an efficient professional manner.
• Diagnoses problems with heating, ventilation, and air conditioning units and determines repairs or replacements.
• Performs preventative maintenance on HVAC units (filters, coils, etc.).
• Repairs and replaces kitchen appliances (refrigerators, stoves, washers, dryers); minor plumbing repairs (leaks, clogs) and minor electrical repairs (light fixtures).
• Repairs locks and other miscellaneous items; may perform painting projects; may prepare vacant units for new tenants.
• Cleans carpets; may perform pool maintenance or other facility/landscape tasks to maintain property aesthetics; adheres to safety policies and procedures.

Determines the best method to repair or replace all or part of the unit. Makes repairs and/or replacements according to standard.
