Sunoco LP in Sioux Falls, SD, seeks a Maintenance Technician responsible for routine and unscheduled maintenance of equipment and safety checks within the area. This role includes handling One-Calls with excavators and landowners, coordinating with emergency responders, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Qualifications include a High School diploma, a valid driver’s license, and willingness to respond to callouts after hours.

Summary
The successful candidate must reside within a reasonable radius of Sioux Falls, SD. This position is subject to both pre-employment and random DOT drug testing. This position is responsible for all routine and unscheduled maintenance of all equipment including safety checks within area of responsibility along with other assigned duties. Duties include:
Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are listed below:
High School diploma or equivalent required
Valid driver’s license and good driving record required
Must be able and willing to respond to callouts and emergencies after hours including weekends and holidays
Participate in emergency response activities including spill drills and boom deployment drills
Must be able and willing to work hours outside normal hours as scheduled and required by management
Electrical experience preferred
Pipeline maintenance experience is preferred
Safety training and hazard training preferred
Must be able to become qualified on Operator Qualified tasks
Must be able to work independently as well with others
Must be a self-starter and willing to adapt to rapidly changing conditions
Computer experience preferred
Initiative and organization abilities for meeting deadlines and establishing priorities required
