Job summary

Landmark Properties is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the community’s maintenance program, preserve asset value, and deliver customer-focused service to residents and staff. The role involves assisting with interior/exterior repairs, conducting inspections, and coordinating with the Maintenance Supervisor on turn projects.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ experience with electrical, plumbing, and appliance repair.
• Excellent communication and people skills.
• HVAC certification preferred.
• Computer literacy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, professional, and OSHA approved work environment.
• Assist with the maintenance operations and repairs of the property.
• Assist with monitoring inventory of parts and supplies.
• Perform preventative maintenance.
• Report time and attendance.
• Make daily inspections of the community.
• Understand and adhere to Landmark Properties policies and procedures.
• Ensure confidentiality of resident and company information.
• Customer Service.
• Understand the needs and expectations of residents and exceed their expectations.
• Develop a sense of community among the residents and staff.
• Maintain active and effective communication with residents and parents.
• Maintain a positive community environment for both residents and associates and encourage participation in events and activities.
• Assist the Maintenance Supervisor with organizing and implementing a successful turn.
• Ensure service requests are completed in a timely manner.
• Be available on weekends and after hours for emergency calls.
• Understand, communicate, and enforce community safety, emergency, and fire evacuations policies and procedures, providing emergency response and referral services and resources.
• Document and address behaviors of residents that violate the law or the community lease agreement.
• Identify and address safety and security risks.
• Inspect the physical condition of the property and report any problems to the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager

Job Description The primary role of the Maintenance Technician is to assist with the maintenance program for the community and preserve the value of the asset. The Maintenance Technician assists in maintaining the community’s interior and exterior physical condition and is a customer service driven team player. Environment

The employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate
