Job summary

Bonaventure Senior Living in Maple Valley, WA, is hiring a Maintenance Technician to keep our community in top shape and ensure residents’ comfort. Salary ranges from $24.00 to $26.00 per hour.

This role includes on-the-job training, benefits after qualifying hours, and opportunities for education assistance and career advancement. The Maintenance Technician handles drywall, painting, room turns, and general repairs, with prompt response to work orders and strong customer service to residents

Qualifications

• Experience with drywall repair, painting, and general maintenance.
• English language required.
• CPR Certification (preferred).
• Must pass criminal background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Repair drywall throughout the community and resident suites.
• Touch up painting and/or repainting resident suites as needed.
• Complete “room turns” after a resident move outs to prepare the suite for a new occupant.
• Troubleshooting and fixing maintenance needs for residents and the community.
• Coordinate and work with vendors to ensure repairs are completed right the first time and at the right price.
• Respond to resident work orders in a timely manner.
• Provide exceptional customer service to residents, their families, vendors, and outside providers.
• Building maintenance, facilities maintenance and maintenance person are common titles for this position.
