Wichita State University is seeking a Senior Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair complex mechanical systems at the Wichita, KS campus. This on-site role performs preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure safe, reliable facility operations.
You will install, test and repair equipment, manage inventories, and assist with seasonal tasks such as snow and ice removal, working both independently and with other trades as needed.

As a Senior Maintenance Technician, you are the expertproblem-solver who keeps our facilities, equipment, and operationsrunning safely and efficiently. From installing, inspecting, andrepairing complex mechanical systems to tackling escalatedtroubleshooting issues, you play a critical role in minimizingdowntime and maintaining reliability. You work independently andcollaboratively to complete structural and utility repairs, managematerials and inventory, maintain accurate service records, andrespond to seasonal needs such as snow and ice removal. Yourtechnical expertise, attention to detail, and commitment toexcellence help create a safe, functional, and well-maintainedenvironment for everyone.
Performs preventive and corrective maintenance of complex equipmentand systems throughout the facility.
Ability to position self for inspection, construction ormaintenance of equipment and/or buildings including confined,elevated and loud noise spaces.
