Job summary

Acts Retirement-Life Communities, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician (Semi-Skilled) for a part-time role working 7-3, Monday through Friday.

The position focuses on repairing and maintaining the physical structures of buildings and completing work orders using carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC knowledge. This role supports the preventive maintenance program and requires a basic technical background.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 2-4 years of technical maintenance experience.
• General mechanical knowledge in electrical, plumbing, carpentry and/or painting, as well as HVAC and/or grounds maintenance.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Repairing and maintaining physical structures of commercial and/or residential buildings.
• Complete assigned work orders using carpentry, plumbing, electrical and HVAC skills.
• Support and follow the preventative maintenance schedule.
• Ensure safety and quality in all maintenance tasks.

Acts is currently seeking qualified candidates for our Maintenance Technician (Semi-Skilled) position.

JOB TYPE: Part time

SHIFT: 7-3 M-F

In this role, you will be responsible for repairing and maintaining physical structures of commercial and/or residential buildings, as well as completing assigned work orders by applying general knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC. Supports the preventative maintenance schedule.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2-4 years of technical experience in maintenance
• General mechanical knowledge in electrical, plumbing, carpentry and/or painting, as well as HVAC and/or grounds maintenance
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license

Pay Range

$19.06 - $23.91 / hour. Starting rate will vary based on skills and experience.
