Job summary

Walor North America in Columbus, OH is seeking a Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical systems across our manufacturing facility. The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and a strong work ethic.

Ideal candidates have 2-3 years experience in machine repair, knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics, and the ability to read mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics. Onsite schedule Monday to Friday, with potential overtime.

Qualifications

  • 2-3 years experience in a machine repair and troubleshooting environment.
  • Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical drive systems.
  • Basic mechanical, welding and cutting skills.
  • Should be capable of reading/interpreting mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic prints/schematics.
  • Good problem solving skills and attention to quality/detail.
  • Have basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

  • Ensures all facilities and equipment are properly maintained and in good, safe working order
  • Perform mechanical and electrical maintenance on various manufacturing equipment. This includes mechanical and hydraulic forging presses up to 2500T, combustion furnaces, CNC saws, shot blast, and auxiliary equipment
  • Perform necessary preventive maintenance in line with the maintenance schedule and procedures
  • Maintain documentation of preventive maintenance, equipment repair, part usages and other projects
  • Communication and documentation of daily breakdown and planned repairs
  • Troubleshooting of complex mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
  • Troubleshooting of complex electrical servo and drive systems
  • Accountable for entering data into maintenance system timely and accurately
  • Other duties as assigned

Job description

Walor North America is looking for a Maintenance Technician to join its Maintenance team. In this role, you will beresponsible for troubleshooting mechanical and electrical problems in an efficient and safe manner throughout the facility. A successful candidate is a self-motivated problem-solver that utilizes a strong work ethic to ensure all quality levels are met.

What you will do
