Job summary

ADP, Inc. in Irving, TX is seeking an Assistant Maintenance Tech to support daily operations of the engineering/maintenance departments. You will maintain equipment, interior and exterior of buildings, and property to keep it in proper condition.

The role requires 2–4 years of related experience, EPA certifications preferred, and knowledge across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and safety standards. On-call evenings/weekends with proactive maintenance duties are expected.

Qualifications

• Two to four years related experience or equivalent.
• EPA Certifications and other licenses preferred by law.
• Knowledge of building codes, OSHA requirements, and ADA laws.
• Ability to manage priorities and workflow with changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain property including offices, production areas, public areas, and equipment through a preventive maintenance program.
• Maintain organization’s physical operations including HVAC, kitchen equipment, generators, plumbing, electrical systems.
• Schedule in-house work and external vendors for turnover of units as needed.
• Interface with staff to receive maintenance requests and respond in a timely manner.
• Maintain inventory levels and authorize purchase orders for supplies and equipment.
• Ensure fire and safety inspections are completed and safety/sanitation policies followed.
• Assist staff in maintenance and repair of equipment, buildings, and property.
• Participate in after-hours emergency on-call service for residents.
• Participate in quarterly PM inspections and pre-inspections for REAC.
• Maintain work orders and ensure completion to standards and deadlines.
• Possess knowledge of OSHA and ADA guidelines and apply them in daily work.
• Support special projects or activities designated by management.
