Job summary

Reeder Management, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to inspect, repair, and maintain machinery, equipment, and facilities across our properties in the Port Orchard/Gig Harbor area.

This full-time role emphasizes preventive maintenance and safety, with a team-driven environment and opportunities to contribute to property upkeep. We offer competitive wages from $25 to $42 per hour, with a starting range of $32–$34 for new hires based on experience.

Qualifications

• Must provide own hand and power tools.
• Ability to climb ladders and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Valid WA driver's license and ability to drive up to 50% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, repair, and ensure smooth operation of machinery, equipment, and facilities within managed properties.
• Perform preventive maintenance and respond to service requests within 24 hours.
• Maintain shop areas, inventory, and ensure proper timekeeping and records.
• Prepare vacant apartments for new tenants, including repairs and touch-ups.
• Ensure work complies with OSHA and housing laws and report deficiencies to the Community Manager.
