Job summary

Prime Group Holdings, LLC is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician in Salem, MA to perform electrical, plumbing, HVAC, painting, carpentry, janitorial, and grounds maintenance across properties. You will assist with vendor coordination, respond to minor repair needs, and follow safety policies to ensure safe, well-maintained spaces.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, strong communication, customer service mindset, teamwork, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be customer service oriented.
• Must be able to work as part of a team and have a “can-do” attitude.
• Ability to meet or exceed the company’s attendance and punctuality standards.
• Ability to use common tools.
• Ability to understand and follow directions as given.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision, use sound judgement and effectively manage time and job responsibilities.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• VALID DRIVERS LICENSE REQUIRED.
• Monday-Friday, 7:00AM-3:30PM.

Responsibilities

• Performs minor electrical maintenance.
• Performs minor plumbing maintenance.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems and be able to perform HVAC filter changes.
• Performs general construction such as painting, carpentry in connection with smaller tenant improvement projects, or general maintenance of property.
• Performs janitorial maintenance which may include cleaning rooms, common hallways, common restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, parking lots and other work areas, as well as trash removal throughout the property.
• Performs grounds work / landscaping.
• Snow removal.
• Assist with third party vendor access and coordination.
• May be required to respond to emergency maintenance situations.
• May be required to be on call after-hours for emergency or snow removal efforts.
• Performs other work-related duties as assigned.
• Follows all safety and OSHA related policies.
