Job summary

Paraco Gas Corp is hiring a Maintenance Technician II in Waterbury, CT. You will support the production line and facility maintenance, working with senior technicians and supporting multiple locations.

Roles include equipment lubrication, cleaning, and preventive tasks across daily, weekly and monthly cycles. The role requires lifting up to 75 pounds, readiness for outdoor conditions, and a proactive, safety-focused approach.

Qualifications

Basic troubleshooting, problem solving and diagnostic skills.
Experience with hand tools, power tools and test equipment.
Read, interpret and record data from meters, gauges, scales, panels and computer consoles.
High school diploma or GED; vocational certs in electrical/mechanical/plumbing are a plus.
Lift up to 75 pounds and work outdoors in all weather.
Disciplined, proactive and reliable with strong work ethic.
Effective communication with customers and co-workers.

Responsibilities

Perform light maintenance, supply management, cleaning and special projects on the production line and facilities.
Greasing and oiling equipment and conveyors.
Clean internal components of equipment.
Internal washer cleaning.
Propane pump system daily maintenance.
Air compressor maintenance daily/weekly/monthly.
Light janitorial work as needed.
Rust removal and painting of equipment as needed.
Supply management and other duties as assigned.
