Job summary

West Pharmaceutical Services in Nebraska is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support equipment and building maintenance with a primary focus on preventive maintenance. The role requires hands-on work in an industrial setting, performing PMs and assisting with equipment moves.

The ideal candidate has at least a high school diploma or GED, about one year of industrial/mechanical experience, and a basic understanding of hand tools and fluid/pneumatic/hydraulic systems.

Job Summary

Performs necessary duties to support equipment, and building maintenance with primary focus on preventative maintenance.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Perform necessary preventative maintenance on plant equipment.
• Complete PMs daily.
• Assist with equipment moves as required.
• Asist with down equipment if needed.
• Support vendors as needed.
• Support facility LEAN initiatives as to how it relates to the maintenance department.
• Perform all duties under the direction of the Plant Maintenance Supervisor or designate.
• Participate in training to become more proficient in facility and equipment related programs.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education

• High School Diploma or GED required.

Work Experience

• 1 year experience in industrial or mechanical work environment

Preferred Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

• Basic understanding of hand tools, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic functions

Travel Requirements

None: No travel required

Physical Requirements

Heavy-Exerting up to 100lbs/45kg of force occasionally and/or up to 50lb/22kg of force frequently, and/or up to 20lbs/9kg of force constantly to move objects.

This shift is Monday - Friday 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM
