Job summary

Peak Living is hiring a Maintenance Technician to join our team. The role requires performing make-ready tasks, handling work orders, and assisting with building and common area upkeep across communities. Weekend and after-hours availability may be required to meet community needs.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of maintenance experience in property management. EPA/CPO certification is preferred but not required.

• Minimum 1 year of maintenance experience in a property management environment.
• EPA and CPO certification preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of general maintenance (electrical, plumbing, appliance repair, etc.).
• Demonstrate effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Complete make ready maintenance.
• Complete assigned work orders and ensure compliance with Peak Living standards.
• Assist with building and common area maintenance.
• Assist with the preventative maintenance program and maintain property equipment.
• Work 32 hours per week at Powers Ridge and potentially 8 hours on the 5th day at other properties.

Peak Living is currently seeking a qualified Maintenance Technician to join our team!

Overview

Under the direction of the Service Manager, the Maintenance Technician is responsible for bringing units up to market ready condition in accordance with Peak Living standards. Typical range of hours is based on the community needs and may require weekends and after hour emergency services.

Responsibilities

• Complete make ready maintenance.
• Complete assigned work orders and ensure compliance to Peak Living standards.
• Assist with building and common area maintenance.
• Assist with preventative maintenance program and maintain property equipment.
• 32 hours per week at Powers Ridge plus possibly 8 hours/the 5th work day per week floating to our southern properties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent GED.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in general maintenance in property management environment.
• EPA and CPO certification preferred, but not required.
• Knowledge of general maintenance (i.e., electrical, plumbing, appliance repair, etc.).
• Demonstrate effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must have the ability to communicate in English.
