Jobot is seeking a Maintenance Technician with PLC knowledge for our Scarborough, ME facility. You will troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems to keep a busy manufacturing line running.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of experience in manufacturing maintenance, can read schematics, and adheres to safety protocols. This role offers 1st or 2nd shift and hourly pay of $33–$40.

Qualifications

We are seeking dedicated and skilled Maintenance Techs to join our dynamic team . This role will provide essential maintenance support to our busy manufacturing operation. The ideal candidate will be a problem solver who can effectively troubleshoot and repair a wide range of equipment and machinery. With a strong emphasis on electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, pneumatic, and PLC systems, this role is perfect for a hands‑on technician who thrives in a fast‑paced, challenging environment.

Responsibilities

• 1. Conduct routine inspections of machinery and equipment to identify and respond to signs of malfunction.
• 2. Perform preventative maintenance tasks to keep machinery running at peak levels of performance.
• 3. Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic systems and components, utilizing schematics and technical drawings.
• 4. Coordinate with the production team to schedule repairs and maintenance to minimize downtime.
• 5. Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
• 6. Document all maintenance and repair work, maintaining accurate records for reference and reporting.
• 7. Keep the maintenance area clean, organized, and stocked with necessary tools and supplies.

Qualifications

• 1. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a maintenance technician role within a manufacturing environment.
• 2. Proven experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, mechanical, and PLC systems is essential.
• 3. Technical training or certification in hydraulics, maintenance, or a related field is highly desirable.
• 4. Demonstrated ability to read and understand technical drawings and schematics.
• 5. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair a wide range of equipment.
• 6. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• 7. Proven ability to adhere to safety protocols and procedures at all times.
• 8. Physical stamina and strength, with the ability to lift heavy objects and work on your feet for extended periods.
• 10. Proficiency in using a variety of tools, including power and hand tools, for maintenance and repair tasks.
