ImageFIRST Healthcare Laundry Specialists is hiring a Maintenance Assistant to support maintenance and repair of facility machinery. The role includes learning PLC programming, assisting with installations, and performing daily upkeep to ensure smooth production.

You will work with cross-functional teams to maintain safety and equipment reliability. The job offers a Monday–Friday schedule with occasional Saturdays, and a pay rate of $20.00–$25.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Familiar with HVAC, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic & pneumatic systems, plumbing, carpentry, piping and PLC programming.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Manual dexterity for operating machinery and computers.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation of facility machinery parts.
• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on facility machinery.
• Move product to facilitate production processes.
• Troubleshoot and repair facility machinery as needed.
• Learn and assist with PLC programs.
• Assist with ordering tools and machinery parts.
• Complete daily maintenance and repair logs.
• Communicate with operators and management.
• Dust, clean, and maintain floors and equipment.
• Conduct safety inspections and maintain upkeep.
