Job summary

American Avenue Property Management LLC is hiring a Residential Maintenance Technician in Peoria, IL. This role covers HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliances, and turns across single-family rentals. You’ll work with a small, autonomous team and document work through our mobile app.

We offer guaranteed 40 hours per week, mileage reimbursement, quarterly bonuses, and generous health/dental coverage with PTO starting at 2 weeks and increasing yearly. EPA 608 certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years multi-trade maintenance experience in apartments/SFR or trades.
• Proficient in at least 3 of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliances.
• Own truck/van + hand tools (reimbursed + $0.76/mile).
• Valid driver’s license; on-call readiness; background check.
• EPA 608 Universal is a big plus; turning homes at volume.

Residential Maintenance Technician – Peoria, IL

$26–$34/hr

• Guaranteed 40 hrs/week
• $0.76/mile vehicle / gas reimbursement
• Quarterly performance bonus

The Job

Multi-trade tech for single-family rental homes across Peoria — HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliances, and turns. Work orders route to your phone; you run your metro home to home with real autonomy. We call our techs Property Engineers, and we're hand-picking a small team of the best in each market.

What You'll Work On

• Confident in at least 3 of: HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliances
• Own truck or van + own hand tools (reimbursed + $0.76/mile)
• Valid driver's license; on-call ready ([frequency]); background check
• Big plus: EPA 608 Universal , experience turning homes at volume.
